Hi, I really like your program...I have just downloded and started using it. I haven't had anything wrong with it...except, I do have one question. How do you get the Julia View back. It's checked on the "view menu", but doesn't appear on my screen in live view to the right.
I accidentally pushed the "exit button" on it and it has been gone ever since. I have been trying to figure out how to get it back, but nothing I do seems to work. Julia view is even checked under the view menu on the title, but doesn't appear on my screen.
Could you please help?
Thank You!
P.S. You program is really nice
That's strange, I don't know what may be the cause of this.
To fix this try deleting the config.dat file located in Application Data\Fraqtive (on Windows) or ~/.local/share/Fraqtive (on Linux). It should then return to the 'factory state' ;).

Michał
Hmmmmm I don't know what happened but now I can't see any
preview for any Julia fractals. The Mandelbrot works normally.
When I change fractal type to Julia I can zoom in and out by
dragging the mouse, but no matter how I move the mouse
pointer, the Julia Preview stays black.
version 0.4.4 on Vista Home Premium 32 bit.
I don't know if it's a clue but everything was working
normally until I decided to use full screen mode to capture
wallpapers. I got a good image, but from then on the
Julia Preview is black as I mentioned.
edit: just more info .. I tried deleting all settings and restart, then uninstall reinstall .. still broken
edit2: I wonder if it's a QT thing? When I install AviDemux QT version it never works. I have to install the GTK version.. at least on Vista
edit3: I have a feeling this is working as designed? I guess for some reason I thought I could mouse over on the Julia image too. I insalled on my XP machine does same thing so I guess it's not broken. Sorry :)
Nice program. I'm getting some very nice wallpapers. :)

"How come we don't know the I.Q. of the guy who invented the test?"
It is as designed - you can only mouse over a Mandelbrot image. It's a usability issue, the Julia Preview should say that clearly. TODO for the next version :).
